The Canadian Innovation Exchange (CIX) named Matidor to its Top 20 Early-Stage Companies list for 2021, placing the Vancouver startup among the most innovative technology companies in the country. The CIX Top 20 Early program is reserved for companies with less than $5 million in net revenue or less than $10 million raised, recognizing high-potential startups at the beginning of their growth curve.

Being selected for the CIX list is a signal of both technical innovation and market traction. The program has historically served as a launchpad for Canadian tech companies that go on to raise significant capital and expand into global markets.

For Matidor, the recognition came in a year packed with milestones, including a Y Combinator cohort, a seed round close, and a BC Startup of the Year award. The CIX selection added Canadian national visibility to a company that was already drawing attention from international investors and enterprise operators.
